How to Work in Any Enviroment: T.D. Jakes
1. Don’t expect to be appreciated. Your only expectation should be to get a paycheck.
Don’t come to work to have personal relationships.
Don’t allow what you do to affect who you are.
2. Do your job well, but remember your mission. God put you there to be a Light.
3. Seek opportunities to change the atmosphere without commenting on the problems.
You have a God to talk to. You are on an assignment.
Quietness and competence shall be your strength.
4. Don’t let your environment get inside of you. You should influence it, not let it influence you.
Stop going to work to be fed. You didn’t come to receive, you came to give.
5. Increase your capacity to work with different personalities.
God will often bless you through people you don’t even like!
6. Remember, where you are does not define where you are going. This will deliver you from frustration.
God has a plan for your life. Keep your eye on the prize.
When Peter did this, he was able to walk in what other people sank in!
7. Get the optimum results with minimal confusion.
Be effective without making the environment worse.
8. Don’t be associated with one group or clique. Labels limit your usefulness.
God wants you to work with everybody but be labeled by nobody.
Use all your gifts.
9. Always keep your song near you. Keep a consecrated place in your soul.
Hold on to your praise.
10. Understand that God anoints you for trouble.
Put on the whole armor of God before going to work.

God is amazing. I agree with the idea that God put me where I am today because He wants me to be a LITE. Im an Intern in one of the FET and its a blessing to me to find myself having that chance to wake-up,take a bath and look good to be in the office. Im there to learn and i can do anything i told to do I dont complain and Im not worried about the way people they treat me,I take it as a challenge. GOD PUT ME WHERE IM TODAY…AND IM GLAD. HE GAVE ME STRENGT TO FACE THE CHALLENGES I MEET EVERYDAY. I LOVE GOD WITH ALL MY HEART…HE IS ABLE…HE GAVE ME CHANCE TO LIVE AND WORK …I LIVE WITH NO COMPLAINTS I THANK GOD EVERYDAY MONDAY TO SUNDAY I APPRECIATE EVERYMOMENT I AM HAVING. I WISH ALL PEOPLE CAN TAKE THE CHALLENGE AND STOP COMPLAINING. GOD PUT THEM WHERE THERE ARE TODAY BECAUSE HE WANT THEM TO BE THE LITE…WAKE-UP PEOPLE APPRECIATE EVERY MOMENT YOU ARE HAVING !!!

Isn’t this the same T D Jakes which preached that Ruth and Naomi were lesbians? http://gcmwatch.wordpress.com/2008/08/29/td-jakes-becomes-a-conduit-for-false-homosexual-theology/ It comes right from his mouth.
Quote T.D. Jakes (from the video above):
“Ruth turns to Naomi and says “I shall not leave thee.” She makes her statement to this woman…that sounds somewhat, somewhere in between poetry, intimacy, and borders on lesbianism. People don’t even know how to explain what Ruth said to Naomi. It makes them uncomfortable. They’re afraid to talk about it. They don’t want to teach on it. Same thing with David and Jonathan…where there were same-sex relationships getting too close, people don’t even know what to say.”
Why are you posting statements from false teachers? Not sure I understand. This guy is clearly a Wolf who is posing as a Shepherd. You should not give him any glory. He is already seizing it himself.

i think that sometimes we want to see things which are not there, in the matter of ruth and naomi [ from my understanding] there is no indication of a lesbian relationship, except that ruth portrade characteristics of a loyal daughter in law and stayed with the family she was wedded into, this practice of loyalties/affiliations, is still evident in some cultures….however these debates have a positive side, it just gives us a enquiring motive to read the bible….enjoy

I’ve never heard that about Ruth/Naomi or David/Jonathon and don’t even understand HOW those interpretations make sense.
God sets us on a journey and we need to stay the course until God sends us in a different direction.

whether the interpretation is true or not. the message is fornication.
there is a thin line between leaning on your own understanding and leaning
on the word of Christ. how the Lord hates sexual imorallity. how much has
he writen on this in the bible. remeber the bible was not written by men,
it was written by Jesus himself (threw man), think about it. if i dont want
to love people, then Christ will Love People for me threw me, and if i do
want to Love people then Christ will still Love them for me threw me, and
is his Love not greater and all a human being needs. Moses never wrote the
ten commandments, God wrote the ten commandments threw Moses. in all cases
in the Bible with all men same thing, men never wrote the Bible. tell me
what is the defenition of Love, and if you say there are many then you
dont really know your bible. Be careful how you answer, remeber there is
a thin line.

Friendship is something created by God.it seems the gay/lesbian community cant have two people be friends without thinking of a sexual relationship.Sex isnt everything.Ruth and Noami were buddies, just like David and Jonathan.I rebuke all spirit of confusion.c’mon people lets go back to being kids in the sense where we can love one an other with out being perverted.Alrighty!
