we learn that in the plane of the believer’s highest experience of union with the Lord, and in the “high places” of spiritual maturity of the Church, will the keenest and closest battle be fought with the Deceiver and his hosts.

Mrs. Penn-Lewis, who was a witness of much of the Welsh Revival at the dawn of this century, saw the rise of a number of groups stressing extreme practices. This book (an abridgement of the original) was written in collaboration with the revivalist Evan Roberts as a warning against counterfeits and a guide to victory.”

This book is startling in the accuracy and her ability to depict the deceptions that have blinded the eyes of

a large majority of believers who, with every day that passes, are hurtling to the beginning of the last days, oblivious of the present clear danger that surrounds them.
